وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِAnd that within the breasts is obtained,إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌۢIndeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Aware.
القارعة
Al-Qari'ah · The Calamity
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
ٱلْقَارِعَةُThe Striking Calamity -مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُWhat is the Striking Calamity?وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُAnd what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity?يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِIt is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed,وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِAnd the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up.فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥThen as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds],فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍHe will be in a pleasant life.وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥBut as for one whose scales are light,فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌHis refuge will be an abyss.وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهْAnd what can make you know what that is?نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌۢIt is a Fire, intensely hot.
التكاثر
At-Takathur · The Rivalry in world increase
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُCompetition in [worldly] increase diverts youحَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَUntil you visit the graveyards.كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَNo! You are going to know.ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَThen, no! You are going to know.كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِNo! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty...لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَYou will surely see the Hellfire.ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِThen you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِThen you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.
