لَا يَصْلَىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلْأَشْقَىNone will [enter to] burn therein except the most wretched oneٱلَّذِى كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰWho had denied and turned away.وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَتْقَىBut the righteous one will avoid itٱلَّذِى يُؤْتِى مَالَهُۥ يَتَزَكَّىٰ[He] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himselfوَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعْمَةٍ تُجْزَىٰٓAnd not [giving] for anyone who has [done him] a favor to be rewardedإِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰBut only seeking the face [i.e., acceptance] of his Lord, Most High.وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَىٰAnd he is going to be satisfied.
الضحى
Ad-Duhaa · The Morning Hours
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
وَٱلضُّحَىٰBy the morning brightnessوَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰAnd [by] the night when it covers with darkness,مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰYour Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muḥammad], nor has He detested [you].وَلَلْـَٔاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْأُولَىٰAnd the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓAnd your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَـَٔاوَىٰDid He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّا فَهَدَىٰAnd He found you lost and guided [you],وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًا فَأَغْنَىٰAnd He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.فَأَمَّا ٱلْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْSo as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْAnd as for the petitioner, do not repel [him].وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْBut as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].
الشرح
Ash-Sharh · The Relief
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَDid We not expand for you, [O Muḥammad], your breast?وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَAnd We removed from you your burdenٱلَّذِىٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَWhich had weighed upon your backوَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَAnd raised high for you your repute.فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًاFor indeed, with hardship [will be] ease [i.e., relief].إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًاIndeed, with hardship [will be] ease.فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَٱنصَبْSo when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرْغَبAnd to your Lord direct [your] longing.
